Canadian Mining Review is intended as a place to explore current issues and ideas about the mining industry in Canada.
Much of what is already available online about Canadian mining is presented from a very specific point of view. Information is presented either by the industry itself, investors and analysts, various government departments, a wide range of non-governmental organizations or academic specialists.
All of these industry participants have a particular vested interest that can often be at odds with the interests of the owners of the vast mineral resources of this country, the citizens of Canada.
What Canadian Mining Review attempts to provide is a place for the general public (which is the owner of the mineral resources of this country but which is in large part non-specialized when it comes to the industry of mining) to engage in a discussion with participants in the Canadian mining industry about issues that affect the owners of the resource and their families.
Canadian Mining Review is not published by one of the above stakeholders. There is no subscription fee. This blog is supported by the advertisers whose ads appear to the right.
